Hola! Muchas gracias por sus E-cartas! Estoy haciendo muy bien! esta semana fue bien. estoy aprendiendo espanol lentamente pero surely (I don't know how to say surely in spanish yet:). lol thanks for your emails and your letter! It's always great hearing from home. This week went by in a flash! It seems like the time is just speeding up, I've nearly been here for a month! it's crazy.
I think Saturday was a highlight of the week. The teachers in our zone started this thing where we can set up appointments and they'll pretend to be progressive investigators. Me and Elder Hale and Lockhart taught 5 lessons. It was crazy/awesome/draining. It really felt like we were real missionaries though. Some lessons were better than others. It's amazing my testimony of the Spirit is definitely growng. It's like night and day compared to when we teach with the spirit and when it's not there. I think the last lesson we taught was the best. We taught "Roberto" which we taught last week but it didn't go very well at all. We taught him the first lesson last week and committed him to read and pray but when we saw him on Saturday we found out that he didn't keep his commitments. When we found that out we decided to go through 3rd Nephi 11 with him. It was kind of funny because Elder Hale started reading it and Brother Ames (the teacher pretending to be Roberto) was like, "Hey time out, you should really let me read this, thanks" lol (it's nice when the teachers help us out and give us pointers) so we stopped and asked "Roberto" to read. We talked about what he read a little bit then testified that he was feeling the spirit and if he prays to know if these things are true he'll feel it again. Yeah, it was really good. Then yesterday was nice. I guess every fast sunday is mission conference so we had that at 10. I taught the lesson for District meeting this Sunday (we have one every Sunday, but the branch presidency usually teaches). It was good. I had everyone testify on the Love of God (which was the topic) because I like it better when everyone testifies instead of me talking the whole time. Sundays definitely are nice. Alright well i'd better go I don't have much time left.
Love you!
Elder David Frome
